Abstract

Aims: To assess nurses` knowledge about fluids for patients with chronic renal failure. Furthermore, to figure out any connection between nurses’ socio-demographics variables and nurses’ knowledge.


Methodology Design: A cross-sectional study.


STUDY sample. non-probability sample of (50) SETTING: People working in dialysis hospitals (nurses.


Results: {The results are}: Most of participants were within moderate level of knowledge towards fluids for chronic kidney failure patients.


Conclusion: There is an important association between qualification in the field and nurses’ awareness. Furthermore, there are a number of statistically based relationships between the length of experience and the number of nurses, while most Through research and samples, the largest variable and influencer, according to statistical evidence, is the professional level (bachelor’s degree)


Recommendation: The researcher recommends for a training course targeted all nurses who worked at dialysis unit, moreover recommends publishing a posters and papers regarding chronic kidney disease around all the dialysis unit.
