Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
All submissions must meet the following requirements.
- This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
- This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
- All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
- All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
- Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.
Author Guidelines
These instructions aim to guide authors in preparing and submitting their research to the medical journal, ensuring compliance with scientific and ethical standards.
- Scope of the Journal
- The journal accepts original research articles, review articles, case reports, clinical studies, and systematic reviews in all fields of medical sciences.
- Submitted manuscripts should focus on topics relevant to the medical community, public health, or healthcare advancements.
- The journal also accepts interdisciplinary studies related to medical education, healthcare technology, and clinical practice.
- Submission Guidelines
- Manuscripts must be submitted electronically via the journal’s official website.
- All submitted manuscripts must be written in English and comply with the journal’s formatting requirements.
- Manuscripts should be submitted in Microsoft Word (.docx) format. PDF files are not accepted for peer review.
- Each submission must include a cover letter briefly describing the importance of the research, confirming its originality, and declaring that it is not under consideration elsewhere.
- Figures must be submitted as separate high-quality image files (JPEG or TIFF format, with a minimum resolution of 300 dpi).
- For double-blind peer review, remove all author-identifying information from the main text and file metadata, and keep author details only on the title page.
- Authors are encouraged to provide their ORCID iD whenever available.
- Manuscript Formatting
Title Page: Must include the title of the article, full names of all authors, institutional affiliations, and the corresponding author’s contact information.
Abstract: 150–300 words, including objectives, methodology, results, and conclusions.
Keywords: 3–6 keywords relevant to the study.
Main Text: Organize the manuscript as follows:
- Introduction: Recommended not to exceed 500 words.
- Materials and Methods: Should include the study design, participants, inclusion and exclusion criteria, interventions, outcomes, and statistical analysis (mention the software/version used, effect size, and 95% confidence intervals).
- Results: Present clearly without repeating data already shown in tables and figures.
- Discussion: Recommended not to exceed 1,000 words; should include interpretation, strengths and limitations, and practical implications.
- Conclusion: Concise and consistent with the stated objectives.
- References: Must follow the citation style required by the journal (Vancouver system). DOI numbers should be included where available.
Page & Style:
- Paper size: A4.
- Margins: ~2.5 cm on all sides.
- Font: Times New Roman, size 10 for the main text and 12 for headings.
- Double line spacing throughout.
- Continuous line numbering and page numbering.
- Use SI units consistently.
- Define all abbreviations at their first mention.
Reporting Standards: Where applicable, adhere to CONSORT (clinical trials), STROBE (observational studies), and PRISMA (systematic reviews). Upload the relevant checklist or flow diagram as supplementary files.
- Ethical Considerations
- Authors must ensure the originality of their work and avoid plagiarism All manuscripts will undergo similarity checks using (iThenticate), and the similarity index must be less than 20% (excluding references and standard phrases).
- Research involving humans or animals must include an Institutional Ethics Committee approval statement. For clinical studies, provide the clinical trial registration number from a recognized registry.
- State informed consent where applicable and describe how data confidentiality and participant safety were maintained.
- Authors must disclose any conflicts of interest or funding sources, including grant numbers and the role of sponsors.
- The journal follows the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines; any misconduct (plagiarism, data fabrication, image manipulation, duplicate submission) may result in rejection without review.
- Figures and Tables
- All figures and tables must be clear, properly labeled, and referenced in the text.
- Each figure/table must include a descriptive caption, and all abbreviations must be defined in footnotes.
- Submit figures in high resolution (≥300 dpi) as separate files.
- Preferred file formats: TIFF / JPEG for images and SVG / EPS for charts or line art.
- Indicate the suggested placement within the text The editor reserves the right to adjust the final placement.
- If any figure or table is reproduced from another source, written permission must be obtained, and proper attribution must be provided.
- Recommended not to exceed 5 tables and 6 figures. Each must have a clear title, be cited in the text, and include a precise descriptive caption.
- Acknowledgments
- Acknowledge any funding sources or individuals who contributed to the research but do not meet the criteria for authorship.
- Include grant numbers or project codes when available, and confirm that acknowledged individuals have agreed to be named.
- Authorship Criteria
- Authorship is limited to individuals who made a substantial contribution to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the study.
- All authors must approve the final version of the manuscript before submission.
- Include an Author Contributions statement using the CRediT taxonomy (e.g., Conceptualization, Methodology, Formal analysis, Investigation, Writing—original draft, Writing—review & editing, Visualization, Supervision, Project administration, Funding acquisition).
- Review Process
- All submissions undergo double-blind peer review.
- Authors may be asked to revise their manuscripts based on reviewers’ comments.
- The editorial office aims to provide a final decision (accept, revise, or reject) within 4–8 weeks of submission.
- Publishing Policy
- When submitting the research and after its acceptance in the journal, you must transfer the publishing rights (meaning you grant the journal the right to publish the manuscript).
- After acceptance, authors must sign a copyright transfer agreement, granting the journal the right to publish the article.
- Articles will be published electronically and/or in print.
- The journal follows an Open Access policy, allowing unrestricted access to published articles.
- Self-archiving: Authors may deposit the accepted version of their manuscript in institutional repositories, provided they cite the Version of Record and include the official DOI, in accordance with the journal’s license policy (e.g., CC BY).

- Always include the manuscript title and submission number (if applicable) in correspondence.
- Use a clear subject line, such as: “Manuscript Query – [Article Type] – [Short Title] – [Submission ID]”.
Note:
Manuscripts that do not comply with these guidelines may be returned to authors for revision before the review process begins. Failure to adhere to ethical or anti-plagiarism standards may result in rejection without review. The journal may request original data, protocols, or ethics approvals during the evaluation process.
